Once you complete our Nail Technology program and earn your state nail technician license, you’ll be prepared for a wide range of exciting career opportunities. Graduates may work as a professional nail technician in salons, spas, resorts, hotels, or on cruise ships—or even pursue self-employment by opening their own nail business.

The Nail Technology program consists of 300 total clock hours of instruction. Students complete 210 clock hours on campus at the Provo, Utah location and 90 clock hours through distance education. Based on the published schedule and attendance requirements, the program may be completed in as little as 16 weeks. Successful completion prepares graduates to apply for state licensure and seek entry-level employment as a nail technician.

The Nail Technology program is offered on day and evening schedules. All courses are delivered on a part-time basis, with most students scheduled for approximately 20–25 clock hours per week, depending on the selected schedule.
