Disability Services and Accommodations
Renaissance Academie (RACE) is committed to providing equal access to our programs and services. RACE does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the administration of its educational programs, school-administered activities, or employment practices.

Requesting Accommodations
Students and applicants who would like to request reasonable accommodations should contact our ADA/Section 504 Coordinator:

ADA/Section 504 Coordinator (School Director): Mandy Humphrey
Phone: 801-373-2887
Email: [email protected]

To begin the process:

  1. Contact us as early as possible (ideally before your start date or as soon as a need arises).

  2. Meet with the ADA/504 Coordinator to discuss your request and program requirements.

  3. We may request supporting documentation to better understand functional limitations and determine reasonable accommodations.

  4. If approved, we will provide a written accommodation plan and coordinate with appropriate staff.

Timeline: We aim to respond to requests within 5–10 business days after receiving the needed information.

Examples of Reasonable Accommodations
Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the program and essential requirements, accommodations may include:

  • Adjusted testing conditions (extended time, reduced-distraction setting)

  • Alternative formats for written materials when available

  • Modified seating/standing options or scheduled breaks

  • Adaptive equipment considerations when feasible

  • Scheduling adjustments when reasonable and consistent with attendance and program requirements

Facilities Access
If you have a mobility, hearing, vision, or other access-related need, please contact us so we can determine the best plan for access to classrooms, clinic areas, restrooms, and other campus spaces.

Confidentiality
Disability-related information is maintained as confidential and shared only with staff who need the information to implement approved accommodations.

Concerns or Appeals
If you have concerns about the accommodation process or believe you have been treated unfairly, please contact Mandy Humphrey at [email protected]. If the concern is not resolved, you may request a formal review by Therese Taylor, CEO/Owner.
